PORTER CORE LEATHER will be released.

Based on the 2WAY tote bag of the CORE series, which has been loved for more than 20 years as a standard, we will launch the PORTER CORE LEATHER, which reuses the remaining leather from the process of producing products by using different materials for each part.

Kichizo Yoshida, the founder of the company, was a hard man to value any piece of leather and waste materials. The spirit is still handed down in the Yoshida bag, and on the occasion of this 85th anniversary, we planned this series to make things that only us can do.

After finishing the bag, we use the remaining leather that leaves a considerable amount of excess as each part to make the bag shape. The technique of arranging a wide variety of remaining leather thicknesses with different types, conditions, and processing methods of leather, arranging them in the optimal place, and carefully finishing them without spare time is exactly the workmanship that can be said to be craftsmanship, and you can feel the fun of leather products It is a series that you can do.

The motif is a 2-way tote bag from the "CORE" series, which was announced in 1998A/W. This 2WAY tote bag was inspired by the news paper bag from the 1950s and 1960s, and was originally equipped with a leather handle as an easy-to-use specification like a Yoshida bag. It is one of the Aiko Nic items that symbolize the Yoshida bag loved by many people as a standard item even today.
This series is available in three sizes, L, M, and S, which can be used by both men and women by adding an arrangement to the existing size. The color is composed of two colors, black base and brown base, and the tones and shades of the color vary depending on the type of leather, so you can enjoy various expressions even in one bag.
